World’s Fair shows innovations in mobile

Opens on Monday in Barcelona, the second edition of the world’s mobile phones, the third GSM. From today until next Thursday, an estimated 60 000 people may visit the booths 1300 and keep in touch with delegations from 40 countries.
The size of the global handset market justifies the size of the fair. According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, two billion and two hundred thousand people have cell phones worldwide. In Europe are 90% of the population. In many African countries, the amount of cell exceeds fixed telephony.
